Yet another Northern Ontario Junior Hockey League player has committed to further both his career and education.
Blind River Beavers forward Brendan Young will be attending NCAA Division III SUNY-Plattsburgh in the fall where he will attend school and skate for the Cardinals men’s program, members of the State University of New York Athletic Conference.
The 20-year-old from Lefroy has a team-high 70 points that featured 26 goals and a club-best 44 assists.
