Open houses completed for forestry plan

The 2020-2030 Spanish Forest Management plan is being taken to the next level by EACOM.
Over the last three days, EACOM held open houses to provide the public with an opportunity to review the work so far and make comments about plans for the Spanish Forest, which extends from the north shore of Lake Huron north past Chapleau.
EACOM Forester, Ryan Milne, says the plan is the long-term plan for the Spanish Forest, so the comments from the public are important for the long-term sustainability of the resource.
Milne says they expect to have the updated draft plan completed by the end of August.
