FedNor minister working on Ring of Fire

FedNor minister Greg Rickford says many problems need to be overcome before the Ring of Fire sees the light of day.  He says the biggest issue is transportation infrastructure.  Rickford says a North-South link to the chromite discovery has a lot of problems and so does building a private road.  Rickford says what it boils down to is doing more work.  Rickford says the federal government is planning on getting input from First Nations and small communities in the Ring of Fire region for their input.  He’s also called on the province to come up with a specific plan for the Ring of Fire.  The Ring of Fire has the potential to create thousands of jobs for many decades.
