A grid search is now underway in the Nelson Lake Road area north of Sudbury after two people found a human skull.
Kaitlyn Dunn with Greater Sudbury Police says police were called out on Saturday around 6:20 pm west of Demarais Road in Blezard Valley.
Yesterday morning, the Coroner and Dr. Fairgrieve from the Centre of Forensic Science both attended the scene for confirmation.
Dunn says the three will collaborate on carrying out further to determine the gender and identity of the individual.
She adds the grid search continued throughout the day.
