This year’s Elliot Lake Walk for Dog Guides is nearly set to go.
The event helps raise funds to provide dog guides at no cost to Canadians who need them.
Dogs are trained in Oakville to assist people with vision impairment, physical or medical disabilities, autism, hearing challenges, those with seizure issues, along with diabetes alert guide dogs.
People do not have to own a dog to take part in the walk, which will take place this Sunday, May 26th with registration at 11:00 am and the walkers setting off from Pet Valu, the prime corporate sponsor for K-9 Vision Canada, at noon.
