A potentially dangerous situation has been avoided in Sudbury. An off duty cop saw two transport tires rolling down Barrydown Road late at night which finally stopped in a parking lot. Luckily the tires didn’t hit anyone or anything. Police began looking around for a transport missing two tires and found the vehicle very quickly. The rig had arrived in Sudbury from Toronto. It turns out whoever installed the tires didn’t lock them in properly. The driver was not charged.
