Police Week Celebration 2019

Police Week is around the corner and the OPP are planning various events to highlight their organization.

This year, May 12 to 18 is designated Police Week in Ontario.

The provincial theme for 2019 is “Proudly Supporting Our Police”.

East Algoma OPP community services officer, Phil Young, says officers and other emergency services will be set up at the Collins Hall on Police Day.

He says there will be displays inside and outside.

The event is free and is open to families, with children’s activities and more on site.
