Gas stable across the north – skyrockets in North Bay

North Bay can’t say it has the lowest gas prices in the northeast anymore.  After hitting a low of 79 cents a litre, gas in the community has jumped 18 cents a litre.    At 97 cents, North Bay gas is now more expensive than fuel in other northern centres like Elliot Lake, Espanola, Blind River, Little Current, Timmins and Kapuskasing.  Also two First Nation gas bars just west of North Bay, Sturgeon Falls and Sudbury now sell the cheapest gas ranging from 83 to 89 cents a litre.
