A special meeting was held for the Espanola council to learn the process of developing a strategic plan for the municipality.
The presentation was made yesterday by municipal advisor, Bryan Searle, who spoke on the importance of the plan in focusing on a common vision for the community.
That’s not always easy, he says, especially when it comes to the human factor.
He adds strategic planning is the process by which a corporation envisions its future, and develops strategies, goals, objectives and action plans to achieve that future.
