It has been a couple of years in the making, but Espanola’s new Nursing Home Therapeutic Park is ready to break ground.
The Espanola Regional Hospital Foundation has partnered with many groups to raise the funding for an outdoor, enclosed green space for residents, staff and visitors to long term care at the hospital.
The new space will house walking paths and sitting areas.
What makes it unique, it will be completely enclosed allowing for a secure space for residents to enjoy the outdoors.

Construction begins next week and a grand opening is planned for early summer.
The Moose 99.3FM partnered with the foundation hosting radiothons to help raise the funds for the new attraction.
