The Wiikwemikoong High School FIRST Robotics Team finished top three in the world, a triumphant finish in their first competition.

The team was named to top three for the most prestigious award of the First World Robotics Championship in Detroit: the Chairman’s Award.

Over 400 teams and close to 60,000 people took part in the event last weekend.
