The Espanola municipal budget is expected to be finalized by May 14th and includes three capital projects.
Town CAO, Cynthia Townsend, says the Canada Infrastructure Program funding of $5 million will be used to reconstruct Mead Boulevard from the Queensway Avenue to Second Avenue with other financial supports used to offset the overall cost.
Townsend adds Connecting Link supports will be used to apply for reconstruction of Centre Street – Highway Six from Tudhope Street to Station Road.
The third project is insulating the ceiling in the complex with $50,000 from reserves to complete the work.
