Sudbury police found themselves in an awkward position. A man got his truck stuck on Ramsey Lake and couldn’t get it towed away because the soft ice couldn’t support the tow vehicle. So the man decided to stay with his truck until conditions improved and his vehicle could be towed. Police didn’t like that idea and convinced him to walk back to shore and arrangements would be made to tow his truck off the ice when conditions improved. The man agreed and made it safely back to land.
