Assiginack Township on Manitoulin Island is one of several Canadian communities who will upgrade their baseball fields, thanks to a grant from the Toronto Blue Jays Care Foundation.
Fifteen organizations will receive funding to build, enhance, and refurbish baseball diamonds.
The announcement was made by video on April 14th as part of the Jays Care’s 2019 Field Of Dreams grant program.
