Rainbow board students take part in I.C.E. event

A student from Espanola High School was one of among 50 participants at a mining innovation competition in Sudbury.  And Jimmy Stata, a Grade 12 student, won in the category of Most Creative Product for his Able Controller.  Rainbow school board students took part in the competition which challenged them to come up with solutions to everyday problems.  This was the first time for the competition which was billed as the Creative, Entrepreneurial Challenge, or ICE for short.  The best product was awarded to a Sudbury student who developed an application that helps people improve their math skills.  For winning top prize, the Sudbury student took home a $10,000 mentorship from NOR-CAT.
