Candidate releases recordings following bribe allegations

Premier Kathleen Wynne’s office says audio recordings vindicate the Liberals over alleged bribe allegations in Sudbury.  Former Liberal candidate Andrew Olivier alleges high-ranking Liberals offered him a job or appointment not to run for them in the by-election.  Olivier released the recordings on Thursday.  However, although the Liberals say no bribe is offered in the audio, the NDP disagree.  Timmins-James Bay MPP Gilles Bisson says it’s clear the bribery allegations came directly from Wynne’s office.  Earlier this week the OPP announced they won’t investigate the case saying no crime was committed.
