An internationally renowned parenting expert with over 40 years of experience in education, will be visiting the local area.
Also a best-selling author, Barbara Coloroso, has appeared on every major television network including Oprah and has been featured in leading publications such as Time, Newsweek and the New York Times.
Her areas of expertise include parenting, discipline, conflict resolution, and how to deal with bullying.
Coloroso will be at the Manitoulin Conference Centre in Little Current this Wednesday at 5:30pm and at Cambrian College in Sudbury on Thursday, also at 5:30pm.
Both events are free and include dinner, but seating is limited, so pre-registration is required, at www.cambriancollege.ca/events/careercoaches.
Joining her will be Catherine Poulton, Cambrian College’s Wellness Coordinator, who will give a presentation on wellness on campus.
The Parents as Career Coaches Speaker Series is a presentation of Cambrian College, the Rainbow District School Board, the School College Work Initiative: Dual Credit and the Ontario Post-secondary Access & Inclusion Program.
