Time running out to nominate influential women

Northern Ontario Business is again running its Influential Women competition.  The winners, 14 in all will be honoured at two gala events in Sault Ste. Marie and Thunder Bay during May.  Women can be nominated in seven categories including young entrepreneur and business of the year.  Nominations have to be in by January 30th.  They can be submitted online at www.influentialwomen.ca   A panel of independent judges will decide the winners from the seven categories.   Other categories include tradeswoman, influential community trailblazer of the year and Aboriginal leadership.   Northern Ontario Business created the award in 1997 as a way to recognize women who contribute to the north’s success and expansion.
