The honourary chair for the local area Gusty Walk 2019 is an honour student at Espanola High School.
Grade 10 student, Avery Graham, was diagnosed with Crohn’s Disease, a chronic inflammatory bowel disease, when she was 12 years old.
Graham told The Moose the walk is important to her since it helps raise funds to find a cure and also builds awareness of those living with either Crohn’s or colitis.
She adds 2019 will mark the third year she is participating with her team, Avery’s Angels.

The walk takes place on Sunday June 2nd at Bell Park in Sudbury.
