Is a mobility scooter considered a vehicle? And if so, what rules apply?
Mobility scooters will be the focus of an afternoon seminar hosted by the Elliot Lake OPP to help people understand the rules of the road.
Community safety officer, Constable Phil Young, says the presentation will focus on various types of mobility scooters including two, three and four-wheel scooters, as well as motor-assisted bicycles.
Young adds the free presentation is open to everyone, owners and potential purchasers alike.
It takes place at the Collins Hall from noon until 3:00pm on Friday, April 26th.
