Sudbury candidates begin campaign

The candidates hoping to win Sudbury in a February 5th provincial by-election have started to open their campaign offices.   Liberal hopeful Glenn Thibeault  got high-ranking help at his opening on the weekend, from the Premier herself, Kathleen Wynne.  With the Legislature on break, Wynne is expected to make several campaign stops in Sudbury to take Thibeault over the top.  They’re trying to win back the riding after losing it over the summer to the NDP only to see the NDP MPP quit several weeks later.  To win, the Liberals have to overcome voter anger after Wynne appointed Thibeault instead of going again with the candidate who only lost by less than one thousand votes.
