The recently held Fill an Ambulance campaign in the Espanola –Manitoulin region was a big success. About 600 grocery items were collected in a span of eight hours at the Freshco in Espanola. And on Manitoulin, Island Foodland and Little Current Valu Mart brought in about 650 food items plus almost $290 in cash. Emergency medical services carried out the food drives before Christmas which helped needy families in the area.
