The roof of the Collins Hall has been cleared of snow and structural engineer gives approval to re-open.
However, there will be no programming in the Collins Hall today as staff are busy working to prep the venue for the Entertainment Series Concert Brass Transit: Musical Legacy of Chicago Friday night. A special release of tickets for that show can be purchased at the Collins Hall from 2 to 4 pm (no tickets available at the door).
Regular programs in the Collins Hall (like the popular walking program) will resume Monday March 4th  following this weekend’s Winterfest activities.
Focus has shifted to the municipal pool roof, with the snow clearing crew from Barrie joining local contractors already on site to re-open that facility as soon as possible.
