The Espanola OPP have laid charges against an Espanola man involving a historical sexual assault.
Media officer, Constable Marie Ford, says in early January an investigation began looking into a historical sexual assault, which is alleged to have taken place between 1971 and 1976.
As a result, a 78-year-old man from Espanola has been charged with two counts of gross indecency and one count of sexual assault.
He is to appear in Espanola court on March 4th.
