UPDATE: 8:00PM: POWER RESTORED MOST OF MANITOULIN, SILVER WATER ESTIMATED AT 11:00PM

Most the power on Manitoulin Island has been restored.

Hydro One is working in the Silver Water and Sheshegwaning area where there are also brown-out areas.

Most of the outages were the result of yesterday’s blizzard and high winds across the Island.
