All Elliot Lake city transit services are cancelled for the entire day due to severe weather / road conditions.
Elliot Lake CAO, Dan Gagnon, says Public Works crews are working overtime and adding contracted resources to address narrowing streets and cut banks over the next few days.

– avoid parking on streets when removing snow from driveways (cars on streets make plowing slower and more dangerous)
– minimize unnecessary travel where possible during storm events .
