The drive continues in Blind River to help the victims of a four-unit apartment fire. The tenants lost everything when their one storey building was destroyed by fire last Tuesday. IB Towing of Blind River has been collecting goods of all types to help the victims. Organizer Donna Viel has also received calls from Elliot Lake residents wanting to help. Right now Viel needs a drop off point in Elliot Lake and if you can help, call her at 843-6464. The same number can be used for Blind River area residents who can donate to the cause. Last week’s fire resulted in injuries to one person who is being treated in hospital.
