Tourists wanting to take in events along the North Shore, may want to add Blind River to its list.

Blind River council approved a schedule of events recommended by its Recreational Cultural Services Committee this Tuesday.

Some of the events include: Seniors Day Games on June 7 and June 8 followed by Canada Day celebrations on July 1st.
Community Days, which includes horse pulls, log cutting contests and children’s games, will take place from July 11 to July 14.
The Seniors’ Christmas luncheon and Children’s Christmas party will be held later in the year.

Council still has to set the dates for a Fall Festival and Santa Claus Parade.
