2019 Espanola/Northshore Snowarama ready to go

Having plenty of snow is a good thing when it comes to one of the most popular events on the North Shore.

Easter Seals Ontario will be hosting the 2019 Espanola/Northshore Snowarama on Sunday, February 10th.

Easter Seals coordinator, Carmen Bazinet, says families face tremendous expenses raising a child with a physical disability and most families can’t do it on their own.

She adds funds raised at the will help provide children with physical disabilities with mobility equipment, as well as summer camping opportunities at Easter Seals’ two fully accessible camps.
Registration is at Tim Hortons, lunch is in Whitefish Falls and the award’s ceremony will cap off the yearly snowmobile ride at the Webbwood Eagles’ Club.

This year’s event begins at Tim Hortons in Espanola for registration, from 9:00 am to 11:00 am.
The ride will begin at 10:00 am and participants will ride to the Red Dog Grill in Whitefish Falls where you will enjoy a leisurely lunch.
Following the day’s activities, a delicious spaghetti dinner, awards ceremony and prize distribution will take place at the Eagles Club, 2 Centre St., Webbwood beginning at 5:30 pm. Advance tickets for the dinner will only be available until February 6th at a cost of $12 per person.
