Bar fight in Elliot Lake leads to charges against father and son

A father and son are both charged with assault after getting into a fight over a pool game at an Elliot Lake bar.

The incident took place after 10:00pm last Sunday and involved numerous men fighting.

Someone called the police and after police broke up the fighting they charged the father and son.

The father is a 49-year-old resident of Windsor while the son lives in Elliot Lake and is 24.

Investigators say the incident began as an argument over a pool game at the Hillside Drive South establishment but then got out of hand with fists started flying.
