Checkpoint stop results in several charges against area resident

A 36-year-old Sagamok First Nation man is paying a big price after getting caught at a R.I.D.E. checkpoint.

First Nation police have charged him with having cannabis readily available and operating a vehicle while impaired by drug.

The man was also charged with three counts for driving while suspended.
