News Fire on Queensway Avenue in Espanola – police seeking public’s help SHARE ON: Rosalind Russell, staff Tuesday, Dec. 11th, 2018 There has been another fire at a residence on the Queensway Avenue in Espanola. Espanola Fire Chief Mike Pichor says there was no damage to the residence, but some to a fenced area on the property. He adds he believes the modus operandi is the same as other fires that have occurred in the area over the last year and although the department was not called out to the incident, deems the incident suspicious. Meanwhile, Espanola OPP media officer, Marie Ford, says police were called out to the home at Tuesday at around 1:00 in the morning. She says they found an object smouldering near the residence, and are asking for the public’s help in connection with the mischief. Anyone with information is asked to call Espanola OPP or Crimestoppers.
