The snow is here, but that does not mean the trails are ready for snowmobiling.
OPP say Ontario Federation of Snowmobile Clubs trails are not open including all three local districts: Sudbury, Manitoulin and Algoma.
OPP say sledding on closed trails may cause damage to property or cause landowners to revoke consent closing trails for everyone.
Snowmobile clubs are out and about prepping the trails and will send out an official notice when they are open for use.
