Several boards and councils will host swearing in ceremonies for new trustees and council members.
The Town of Espanola will swear in its new mayor, Jill Beer, this Tuesday at 7:30pm, while Sables-Spanish Rivers Township will swear in its long-time mayor, Leslie Gamble, at 7:00pm.
The Algoma District School Board will also hold its swearing in of trustees at 5:15pm in Sault Ste. Marie.
Election of the board chair and vice-chair will also take place.
