The Algoma District School Board is showing a slight surplus for the last school year.
The trustees audit committee told board members there is a surplus of just over $324,000 for the 2017-2018 school year.
The surplus is attributed to higher than expected enrolment and unexpected savings in other areas.
The funds will be used for classroom technology and upgrades to wireless infrastructure, as well as capital improvements to learning environments in French, English and Math.
