Sponsored by the Elliot Lake Rotary Club, the 100 Elliot Lakers who Care chose a ski project this year.
The donors gathered last week to vote on five different community projects.
In the end, they chose 14-year-old Devin O’Grady’s proposal for Mount Dufour.
A Grade 9 student at Elliot Lake Secondary, he was thrilled to receive a cheque for $7,700 to go towards designing a terrain park to be built at the base of the bunny hill at the ski hill.
Construction will get underway in the Spring of 2019.
