This year’s recipient of a civic award is a well-known Elliot Lake woman.
The City of Elliot Lake 2018 Civic Award was presented Heather Clouston last Thursday at the annual volunteer recognition banquet.
Clouston has been volunteering on several boards and with several organizations, which also includes sports, arts and health care in the 10 years she has lived in the city.
Clouston humbly thanked everyone and says she sees her volunteer work as reaching out to a broad range of people in Elliot Lake.
