The Manitoulin-Espanola OPP are investigating the shooting of a dog.
Police say last Thursday, November 8th, the police were called to a report of an injured dog in Billings Township.
The officers determined that the dog had been injured the day before and as a result of its injuries, the animal was euthanized.
The investigation is continuing with the assistance of the Ministry of Natural Resources and Forestry.
