The hard surfacing of Highway 17 has been completed and contractors are now putting the finishing touches on guide rails and shoulder reinforcements.
The work started in the Spring along the Trans-Canada, just east of Nairn Centre almost all the way to the four-lane.
The four-lane resurfacing on the west bound lanes is also completed and final remedial work is being done as well.
