Manitoulin OPP have laid charges against a Manitoulin Island man involving a sexual assault of a youth.
Police say on Monday, October 22nd, they responded to a report of a sexual assault of a young person.
As a result, a 28-year-old man from the Township of Northeastern Manitoulin and the Islands has been charged with one count each of sexual assault, assault, sexual interference and uttering threats.
The accused’s name has been withheld to protect the identity of the victim.
