The Espanola Sea Cadets and other volunteers will join members of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch #39 for the launch of the Poppy Campaign.
Legion President, Gary MacPherson, says the Poppy Flag will be officially raised at the municipal town office this Friday at 10:00am.
Poppies will be on sale throughout the town with funds raised going to local veterans and their families and related programs.
Ceremonies are all set for Legions across the Moose listening area for Sunday, November 11th.
This year is the 100th anniversary of the Signing of The Armistice that ended the First World War.
