New chief and council host swearing in at Sagamok Fall Fun Days

Sagamok-Anishnawbek held an official swearing in of their new chief and band council.

Gimaa Nelson Toulouse was bestowed a blanket on behalf of the community before his swearing in.

Following the presentation, he and council publicly recited their oats of office.

The swearing in was held at Sagamok’s Annual Fall Fun Days on Saturday, October 20^th at the Sagamok Multi-Educational Centre.
