Espanola’s Therapeutic Park for the long-term care wing of the Espanola Regional Hospital and Health Centre will be built in the Spring of 2019.
Foundation coordinator, Terri Noble, says they had a few setbacks over the summer due to wait times for an electrical engineer to provide electrical specs.
She adds they also needed engineering plans for the gazebos and other building structures.
All the drawings have now been submitted for a building permit and the plan is to line up the contractors and purchase supplies over the winter.
Noble adds construction will begin in early Spring 2019 and it will take four to six weeks to complete the project.
