Elliot Lake will host its last meeting with this council to consider a water front project.
City council will consider inking a contract with a firm from Seguin, Ontario for construction of a waterfront project, which will include a fishing pier, launch ramp docks and marina docking on the shore of Elliot Lake off Highway 108, just north of the downtown cost.
If council approves the project, it will agree to pay Kropf (KROF) Industrial Incorporated just over $593,000.
The project would also be partially supported with funding the Northern Ontario Fund Corporation and Industry Canada FedNor.
Tuesday night’s meeting is the last one before the municipal election on October 22nd.
