The Blind River Emergency Food Bank will receive assistance, thanks to the assistance of the Blind River Fire Department.
Every year the local fire department pulls together to assist the food bank in filling the shelves.
Firefighters, staff from the Royal Bank and food bank volunteers will be collecting donations in the parking lot of the Blind River Plaza on Friday, October 12 and Saturday, October 13.
There will also be collection boxes at various locations where people can drop off donations starting Tuesday, October 9.
