Some new sensory equipment for children with disabilities will be an addition to the playground at an Elliot Lake park in the near future.
Mayor Dan Marchisella says there will be some special additions to Westview Park very soon.
He says Phase one will include an accessibility seat swing, Omnispin, as well as chimes and drums. Sponsors for phase one are the city, the WildCats, North Shore Car Cruisers, the OPP and Rona. Marchisella adds they are looking for additional support for Phase 2, so anyone wishing to donate can do so at the ELNOS office, care of the Autism Park Fund.
