The Greater Sudbury Police are investigating a fatal collision and are looking for witnesses.
Greater Sudbury Police say on Saturday at around 10:00am, a 2007 Chevrolet Silverado was travelling northbound on Panache Lake Road in the city of Greater Sudbury.
The only occupant, a 55-year old male driver received serious injuries and succumbed at the scene.
The identity of the man is being withheld pending notification of the next of kin.
Police say the vehicle left the roadway south of the Verrmillion River Bridge and received extensive damage.
The truck is described as black in colour with a steel tubular rack in the box.
Police are asking the public for any witnesses to the collision in the area of Panache Lake Road or Old Highway 17 between Lively and Whitefish to step forward.
