Car involved in hit and run in Serpent River First Nation located by police

The East Algoma OPP are still looking for the public’s help in connection with a collision involving a pedestrian.

On Sunday around midnight OPP responded to a collision near the junction of Highway 17 and Hillside Drive in Serpent River First Nation where a 20-year-old male pedestrian from the First Nation was taken to hospital for non-life-threatening injuries.

Police say they have located the car and the investigation is continuing.

Anyone with any information is asked to call police or Crimestoppers.
