The Moose 94.1 FM – CKNR in Elliot Lake raised thousands for the local food bank.
The six-hour radiothon held last Friday had plenty of entertainment and support.
A big thank you goes out to the local volunteers who help made it happen including the Bucket Brigade on Ontario Avenue who stopped traffic for donations.
And that has resulted in raising $9,500 for the Elliot Lake Food Bank.
Last year, just over 3,300 adults and over a 1,000 children accessed the food bank.
