OPP seek public assistance in locating collision involving pedestrian

The East Algoma OPP are looking for the public’s help in connection with a collision involving a pedestrian.

On Sunday around midnight OPP responded to a collision near the junction of Highway 17 and Hillside Drive in Serpent River First Nation.

A 20-year-old male pedestrian from Serpent River First Nation was treated in hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

The car continued driving eastbound on Highway 17 and is described as a small black car similar to Honda Civic with damage to the passenger side front end.
On the passenger side, it is also missing the head light and mirror.

The investigation is continuing.
